She grew up doing dance and gymnastics since she was three years old. It has always been a part of her.
In high school, Moriah helped coach dance and tumbling at the studio she danced at, including being over classes, assisting, and choreographing group numbers and solos.
After she graduated in 2012, she continued to attend different dance classes when possible and throw a tuck when at gravity factory or throw out her back, whichever happens first!
Over the last several years she has gotten back into fitness by running again, picking up swimming, and cycling. Moriah loves competing in triathlons and recently finished her first Ironman. She enjoys staying active and being outside any chance she gets.
Moriah is excited to be back at Legacy helping the students not only improve their skills, but enjoy a fun way to exercise and be healthy.

Three of their kids have been involved in dance, tumbling and cheer for many years, and the youngest can't wait to catch up. In her free time, Alyse enjoys reading, trying to keep her garden alive, and in the winter, her family makes "Skiing Saturdays" a priority. She loves teaching tumbling and dance and hopes all her students find joy in learning new skills.

Kristen Egbert
Instructor and Tumbling Director
Kristen’s love for dance and tumbling began at just 3 years old in her home state of Utah, where she quickly fell in love with the world of movement, performance, and tumbling. She performed at NBA halftime shows, competed across the state, and continued to thrive when her family moved to Arizona at age 12. There, she danced competitively, joined her high school drill team and cheer squad, and performed everywhere from local competitions to the magical stage of Disneyland.
Her passion for performing opened doors into the pageant world, where she showcased her talents and was crowned Miss Graham County’s Outstanding Teen, later competing in the Miss Arizona pageants.
While in high school, Kristen also pursued her love of beauty and style, earning her cosmetology license at age 18 alongside her high school diploma. She later attended BYUI-Idaho, where she stayed active through Zumba and other dance-based fitness classes. After taking a break from the dance scene to start a family and build a successful career as a salon owner, Kristen never lost her love of movement. She dove into Refit classes, strength training, Spartan races, and triathlons and has loved staying active and strong.
Now a proud mom of three, Kristen found herself back in the dance world when her daughter started dancing this time as a dedicated “dance mom.” That experience sparked her desire to return to the studio, and she’s thrilled to be teaching at Legacy Dance Academy. Her passion for dance and tumbling, combined with her love for empowering young dancers/ tumbling makes her want to be an encouraging coach. Kristen finds joy in helping students build confidence, strength, and new skills and she can’t wait to keep growing with
the amazing dancers at Legacy!
